Job Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in vessel and cargo operations and perform assigned tasks in line with port requirements.
- Work across three rotational shifts, with breaks and weekly offs as per port policy.
- Use Casual Leave and Optional/Closed Holidays as available to regular staff. For extended absences, remuneration will be adjusted.
- Follow all MbPA rules and safeguard port resources and equipment under their responsibility.
Terms and Conditions
- Contract Period: One year, with either party able to terminate the contract with one month’s notice.
- Remuneration: Monthly payment of ₹85,000, with ₹10,000 as transport allowance or as adjusted with pension deductions. No additional benefits are provided.
- Work Hours: Assigned work will follow rotational shifts with specified break hours.
- Medical Assistance: Emergency medical care will be available at MbPA hospitals/dispensaries during duty hours. No other medical coverage for family members.
- Accountability: Responsible for maintaining any MbPA property entrusted to them.
